Intensives

Are you and your partner looking for help fast? Do you long to have less conflict and feel connected again? Then, an Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) intensive might be right for you!

About Intensives

Intensives are a great kick-start to therapy, allowing you to get weeks of therapy in just a few days. EFT intensives are guided by an evidence-based approach shown to increase connection and decrease distress. Intensives are a great way to interrupt the problematic cycle of your relationship and build new ways of interacting in just a few days. Together we will break down the ineffective reactions and beliefs and practice healthier ways of interacting and relating.

Investment

  • 1-day intensive, $1250

  • 2-day intensive, $2000

  • 3-day intensive, $2950

Intensives are available Friday-Sunday online or in person. Use the "book now" button to schedule a free consultation to learn more!

Disclaimer

Intensives are not for every couple. As you consider an intensive - keep these things in mind:

  • Couples in which one or both partners have an active addiction are not candidates for the intensive. Likewise, intensive (or any couple therapy) is not an option if an ongoing affair exists.

  • If you and your partner have different goals for therapy, this isn't a good format for you. In other words, if one partner wants to work on the marriage and the other doesn't - an intensive isn't the place to decide if you want to work on the marriage. An intensive can be very rewarding when a couple has the same goal.

  • If being in the same room for a long time is too triggering (potential trauma reaction) or you haven't been able to be in the same space without being civil for some time - this format will not be productive.

  • If there is active intimate partner violence, this (or any couple therapy) is not an option. Please visit this site for more information about intimate partner violence.

If, after reading these bullet points, you're unsure if you're a good fit for the intensive, please call (720) 505-3822 or email us at kimberly@cultivatecounselingco.com. We're happy to help assess if this is a good time for you to engage in this counseling format. If it's not, we're also happy to help you find resources for other help.

As with any psychotherapy, results are not guaranteed. Participants must be in Colorado for the duration of the sessions, even if the intensive is held online. If you are coming from out of town, all ethical and legal guidelines for providing services are under each therapist's license in the state of Colorado (including but not limited to HIPAA, confidentiality, reporting abuse, etc.). Allegations or evidence of abuse are to be reported both in the state you reside in and possibly in CO (where services are provided).
